We, first of all, take the time to listen to your health concerns, perform the appropriate physical exams, and then formulate a unique and individual treatment plan for you. I do best working with people who are willing to take a proactive approach to their healthcare. So much of what I do involves being a detective, trying to discover the underlying reason for health challenges and the root cause of illness. Most people want to get relief from their suffering —understandably so! While this is definitely a goal, I enjoy working with people who also want to optimize their health and to prevent illness in the future.

I am a Functional Medicine practitioner and I focus on getting to the underlying causes of illness for both adults and children. Causes are primarily nutritional deficiencies, genetic mutations like MTHFR, toxins in the body, chronic infections and food allergies. I use lab testing to pinpoint specific causes and then apply the most effective natural treatments. I consistently see dramatic results with fatigue, candida yeast, fibromyalgia, migraines, menstrual problems, menopause, adrenal exhaustion, toxicity, anxiety, depression, and much more. It takes just days to a few weeks to begin to see results and feeling better.

I work with patients to support both physical and mental-emotional health using a holistic approach. I treat conditions including digestive issues, endocrine problems, sleep disturbance, anxiety, depression, concentration difficulties and post-traumatic stress. I provide a compassionate environment for my patients, supporting nervous system balance and optimal healing. I currently have a primarily tele-health practice treating a variety of disorders including gastrointestinal and digestive issues, endocrine (thyroid, adrenal, hormonal and blood sugar), allergies and diet and lifestyle optimization.

I practice primary care medicine and have additional training in women's health, physical and sports medicine, and pain management. As both an acupuncturist and a naturopathic physician, Dr. Sullivan is able to integrate the ancient healing practices of China with modern Western medicine. Dr. Heidi Codino (she/her/hers) has completed extra trainings in LGBTQ+ healthcare as well as gender affirming care. “Feeling that your presenting features match your identity is very important to your physical, emotional, and mental health”. She wants all her patients to feel whole and happy with who they are. She specializes in minor surgery, LGBTQ+ health, IV therapy, pelvic floor therapy, physical manipulations, pediatrics, pregnancy, postpartum, fertility, chronic pain, and oncology, as well as seeing primary care patients of all ages.

Dr. John has been in practice for 25 years, having earned his doctorate degree in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in 1998. After working for two years with a Medical Doctor, he opened The Natural Health Medical Clinic in 2000 on Beacon Hill, just South of Downtown Seattle. He specializes in treating pain and injuries, as well as treating a wide range of health conditions such as diabetes, chronic fatigue, poor immune function and hypthyroidism.
