Dr. Takashima is highly skilled in science-based natural medicines and modalities, and uses wisdom passed on for generations. She does also gentle pap smear, physical exams, order imaging and order/interpret blood work.

I received my doctorate in naturopathic medicine from The Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in 2011. Studying at BINM provided me with the opportunity to be exposed to a variety of specialty treatments, including the use of ozone, prolotherapy and IV therapies. In addition, I had the privilege of receiving formal medical training in oncology by Dr. Neil McKinney, one of the leading naturopathic doctors in naturopathic oncology. In 2012, I joined Synergy Natural Medicine Clinic in Monrovia, CA, to become a specialist in naturopathic oncology. In March, 2016, I redesigned a small clinic and we have been growing ever since!

My purpose is to provide service to anyone that is motivated to heal. I believe that we are given the incredible potential to overcome any health obstacles if we have the right tools and information. Therefore, I am able to see patients with a variety of symptoms and diagnosis. By treating everyone as an individual, we are able to achieve lasting results and empowerment. Hello there! I am a naturopathic doctor practicing naturopathic family medicine with a focus on hormones, gastrointestinal health, reproductive medicine, mood and nutrition. As a licensed primary care doctor, I see pretty much everything and treat the whole family (babies to the elderly). I received my doctorate of naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University in 2009 and completed a 3 year naturopathic family medicine residency program with additional training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility.

I was born and raised in Auburn, California and am a 1996 graduate of Bastyr University, the leading naturopathic medical school in North America. Growing up with my dad as a local doctor inspired me to pursue medicine myself. Personal illness with questions left unanswered by western medicine led me in the direction of naturopathic medicine. I am passionate about helping people find their optimal health. I fill up my free time with my husband and 2 beautiful daughters. Together we enjoy rock-climbing, horse back riding, surfing, gardening and just being together.

This is accomplished by injecting natural substances or one's own blood platelets and tissue stem cells directly into the problem areas in order to regenerate healthy tissue.

Dr. Ballere was born and raised in Northern California near the foothills of the Santa Cruz mountains. She graduated from Cal Poly State University in Luis Obispo majoring in Nutritional Science. She continued on to fulfill her lifelong goal of becoming a Naturopathic Doctor earning her Doctorate from the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon in 2009. Dr. Ballere treats a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. She holds a special place in her heart and in her practice for supportive cancer care since her mother's own diagnosis and winning battle with colon cancer that began in 2005.

My ideal client is someone that wants their health to enable their lifestyle. They may have issues with fatigue, digestion, or stress but the greater problem is that these health issues are interfering with the way they want to live their lives. They need guidance when it comes to achieving their goal of optimal health and that is exactly what I provide.

Dr. Vaughn believes that it’s essential to identify and treat the root cause(s) of symptoms to allow the innate healing mechanisms inherent within the mind, body, and spirit to regain optimal function and balance. She encourages patients to engage in their care, while she strives to educate and empower patients with the information they need to make informed healthcare decisions that align with their values and lifestyle. Dr. Vaughn is a board-certified Naturopathic Doctor with a Masters in Classical Chinese Medicine. She is also a licensed clinical laboratory scientist with an emphasis in Microbiology and stem cell therapies.

At this point in my practice, most of my focus is spent on working with patients with chronic illnesses, like cancer. I also work with patients with digestive issues, men's health issues and other health conditions. I utilize an integrated approach, including behavior modification, counseling, botanical medicine, clinical nutrition, vitamin, mineral and enzyme optimization and intravenous (I.V.) therapy. Although I see many patients for fine tuning and health optimization, I also accept the challenge of working with people with very difficult medical issues, especially folks with issues that conventional medicine has very little to offer.

She firmly believes that understanding the root cause of illness and the interconnectedness between organ systems, as well as mind, body and spirit is the key to healing.
