Dr. Hanson is a California licensed Naturopathic Medical Doctor. He received his doctorate in 2007 at the prestigious National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM) located in Portland, Oregon. He has been an associate doctor with Dr. Frank Shallenberger MD at The Nevada Center in Carson City for seven years. Dr. Shallenberger is well known throughout the United States for his pioneering work using ozone gas (Prolozone) for treating chronic joint pains and acute injuries. This is what brought Dr. Hanson to this region from the Pacific Northwest, to learn this therapy and acquire the skill to use it effectively.

I received my doctorate in naturopathic medicine from The Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in 2011. Studying at BINM provided me with the opportunity to be exposed to a variety of specialty treatments, including the use of ozone, prolotherapy and IV therapies. In addition, I had the privilege of receiving formal medical training in oncology by Dr. Neil McKinney, one of the leading naturopathic doctors in naturopathic oncology. In 2012, I joined Synergy Natural Medicine Clinic in Monrovia, CA, to become a specialist in naturopathic oncology. In March, 2016, I redesigned a small clinic and we have been growing ever since!

Through additional training in midwifery she has gained experience in this regard, including a unique appreciation of the value and application of natural health strategies during and after pregnancy. As a licensed primary care doctor, I see pretty much everything and treat the whole family (babies to the elderly). I received my doctorate of naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University in 2009 and completed a 3 year naturopathic family medicine residency program with additional training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility.

Hello - My name is Dr. Matthew Cavaiola.
