I work with patients to support both physical and mental-emotional health using a holistic approach. I treat conditions including digestive issues, endocrine problems, sleep disturbance, anxiety, depression, concentration difficulties and post-traumatic stress. I provide a compassionate environment for my patients, supporting nervous system balance and optimal healing. Therapeutic tools I use include nutrition, lifestyle recommendations, botanical medicine, nutraceuticals, psychopharmacology, homeopathy, hydrotherapy, somatic-centered counseling and mindfulness techniques.

Avana Natural Health is the home of natural medicine care for the whole family. I hold doctorate degrees in both conventional (MD) and natural medicine (ND). I am a board-certified naturopathic physician in Oregon and an active member of American Association of Naturopathic Physician. In addition, I am certified in Classical Homeopathy, Bowen technique therapy, Korean Hand Therapy, Auricular Therapy and Medicine and Advanced Ozone Therapy. I am currently licensed as naturopathic physician (ND) in both Oregon and Washington state.

I practice family medicine, offering primary care services for all ages. I specialize in pediatrics and women's health at all stages including fertility, postpartum and adjunctive pregnancy care. I also treat various chronic conditions including autoimmunity, metabolic and GI disorders. I wants all my patients to feel good in their own bodies and live the life they desire.

A patient who would be served by me is both curious and motivated about his/her body and return to best health. I enjoy sharing what I know and creating an atmosphere of respect with some levity. You do not need to fit into the medical description of a condition for me to be able to offer care and I spend a lot of time listening to your story to better understand you and your conditions. I currently have a primarily tele-health practice treating a variety of disorders including gastrointestinal and digestive issues, endocrine (thyroid, adrenal, hormonal and blood sugar), allergies and diet and lifestyle optimization.

My goal is to truly understand a person's health goals whether physical, mental, emotional, spiritual - or a combination thereof. Many of the patients I work with may be dealing with: fatigue, stress, pain, gastrointestinal issues, skin conditions, anxiety, depression, and many other conditions that perhaps haven't been adequately addressed by previous providers.
