I am a licensed Naturopathic Physician practicing in Madison Valley in Seattle. I am a primary care physician with a strong emphasis on digestive health, autoimmune illness, environmental medicine, mind body medicine, fatigue, thyroid conditions, food allergies, anxiety, depression, stress, nutrition, detoxification, and preventative medicine. Dr. Sarah Cassidy provides general family care to the whole family, from pediatrics to elderly, including pregnancy and infancy. She uses botanical medicine, homeopathy, hydrotherapy, cupping, dry needling and nutrition to help the body heal itself of disease, and improve wellness. Dr. Cassidy listens to each patient carefully, and educates them on the disease and the treatment.

My passion is for helping people get pregnant, supporting them through their pregnancy and assisting them through postpartum. It is one of the most rewarding experiences to aid families through their fertility journey and meet their beautiful newborns. In addition to fertility, I also specialize in gynecology and work with people of all ages, gender expressions and sexual orientation.

Each patient is an individual and as such, requires treatments that are customized for them. Especially in chronic disease, which is where naturopathic medicine and acupuncture help greatly, taking one magic pill or supplement will not resolve symptoms. I work collaboratively with people to not only identify what is causing their symptoms, but more importantly, identify what roadblocks are preventing them from achieving wellness and explore what treatments they want to try.

I look beyond the labels often associated with long term illness to identify the physiological factors that allowed illness to manifest. I work cooperatively with my patients and colleagues to create custom treatment plans that largely focus on specialized treatment modalities including neural therapy techniques, intravenous therapies, botanical medicine and functional nutrition. I emphasize education to empower my patients to make informed decisions about their health.

I have realized that it is not a population or disease that I specialize in, but in listening to patients and working cooperatively to find the best treatment plan. My specialty is in constitutional homeopathy, but I use all naturopathic medicine tools and focus on women's health and children of all ages.
