I also have many patients with autoimmune disease such as Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and Sjogren's Syndrome in which I've been successful in eliminating/decreasing many of their prescription drugs and symptoms. Prior to her naturopathic doctorate, Dr. Banaian has been received her medical doctorate (MD) from Medical University of Tehran, one of the overseas accredited medical university and was practicing medicine before she moved to the USA.

As a Naturopathic physician I am trained to treat the whole person, recognizing the triad of mind, body and spirit. Healing occurs from the inside-out. That is, from the inside of the patient. My role is to be your ally using my specialized training in alternative diagnostics and therapeutics to give you the best informed information, so together we can make the best informed choices about therapies.

Dr. Thoreson is passionate about what she does and she treats a wide variety of conditions, which includes, but is not limited to digestive disorders, dermatological conditions, asthma and allergies, autoimmune conditions (Hashimoto's disease, inflammatory bowel disease, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, etc.), hormone imbalances and pain and injury to the muscles and joints. She primarily utilizes clinical nutrition, IV therapy, botanical medicine, bio-identical hormone replacement, acupuncture and restorative joint and muscle injections (prolotherapy, trigger point injections and neural therapy). She has a wide variety of skills and knowledge that she uses to tailor each treatment to best fit each patient's individual medical concerns.
