My areas of work include women's hormones and children’s health. In addition to my Naturopathic studies I have a masters in acupuncture. In order to help my patients, I need to know their story. Health problems don't start the first time that a person has a pain, or the first night of insomnia. They started well before that first bout. For example, the problem started long before one develops IBS: IBS is a symptom of the problem. That is why it is so important to take a full history--not just current things but things that may have begun in childhood. So what I do is to listen and ask questions and listen. Once we are both satisfied, we can develop a plan--the goal of which is to help you reach YOUR best state of health.

I specialize in working with children and adolescents with autism, ADHD, and special needs, including behavioral, social, and emotional problems. My goal is to help patients achieve and maintain optimal health. I work to find the root cause of illness instead of merely treating symptoms. I perform a detailed patient intake, comprehensive physical exam, and order and evaluate both conventional and specialty laboratory tests. Treatment plans are developed and adapted to each individual patient with an emphasis on treating the whole person. I actively involve my patients in their treatment, empowering them to achieve and maintain optimal health.
