I am a Functional Medicine practitioner and I focus on getting to the underlying causes of illness for both adults and children. Causes are primarily nutritional deficiencies, genetic mutations like MTHFR, toxins in the body, chronic infections and food allergies. I use lab testing to pinpoint specific causes and then apply the most effective natural treatments. A 1992 Bastyr University grad, Dr Forwell offers a wealth of experience from her 29 years in naturopathic primary care. She is a pioneer of Regenerative Injection Therapies employed to treat pain from injury & overuse. Chronic sprains & strains, osteoarthritis etc are treated with these needling techniques referred to as Prolotherapy, PRP and embryonic Stem Cells as well as Mesotherapy & Neural Therapy. She was a founding board member & instructor at the Naturopathic Academy of Therapeutic Injections, has advanced training from the American Association of Orthopaedic Medicine & conducts doctor training courses around the country.
