I am Board certified Naturopathic Physician and Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Connecticut. I use patient-empowerment approach to achieve the highest level of health possible by supporting the body's own healing processes. Illness may provide opportunities for positive change and new balance in life towards its meaning and purpose. Naturopathic medicine can be used as a preventive medicine, as intervention in acute stages of diseases and during recovery periods; also as support in various chronic conditions and can compliment conventional treatment plan decreasing side-effects of drugs. Each patient is treated with recognition of individual uniqueness.

I specialize in working with children and adolescents with autism, ADHD, and special needs, including behavioral, social, and emotional problems. My goal is to help patients achieve and maintain optimal health. I work to find the root cause of illness instead of merely treating symptoms. I perform a detailed patient intake, comprehensive physical exam, and order and evaluate both conventional and specialty laboratory tests. Treatment plans are developed and adapted to each individual patient with an emphasis on treating the whole person. I actively involve my patients in their treatment, empowering them to achieve and maintain optimal health.

I believe health comes from being able to identify what the obstacles are to your healing. Whether these are internal imbalances, external toxins or a combination of both, identifying the root is the key to taking your health back. My areas of work include women's hormones and children’s health. In addition to my Naturopathic studies I have a masters in acupuncture. I intertwine these two modalities to give the most comprehensive care to bring the body and mind back to balance.
