I take the time to get to know the person in front of me to develop a treatment plan that is the least harmful, most gentle, and most effective. I have realized that it is not a population or disease that I specialize in, but in listening to patients and working cooperatively to find the best treatment plan. My specialty is in constitutional homeopathy, but I use all naturopathic medicine tools and focus on women's health and children of all ages.

Part of the joy I receive from being a physician is meeting people where they are in their health-care journey. Working with you as an individual with a unique history, getting to know your story and what your goals are for yourself is incredibly important. This is treating the whole person. You are not your symptoms or your diagnosis. Dr. John has been in practice for 25 years, having earned his doctorate degree in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in 1998. After working for two years with a Medical Doctor, he opened The Natural Health Medical Clinic in 2000 on Beacon Hill, just South of Downtown Seattle. He specializes in treating pain and injuries, as well as treating a wide range of health conditions such as diabetes, chronic fatigue, poor immune function and hypthyroidism. Areas of special study include hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) which stimulates stem cell production, ozone therapy, homeopathy, herbal medicine, neural therapy, prolozone, PRP.

I am a holistic, evidence based physician who practices with an emphasis on the integration between conventional and complimentary care. I specialize in sexual medicine, menopause, vulvar disease and pelvic floor dysfunction. I have been working in the area of healthcare and sexuality since 1993, and am a nationally certified Sex Counselor through the American Association of Sex Educations and Therapists, and sexual medicine fellow through the International Society for the Study of Women's Health, as well as a nationally certified menopause specialist through the North American Menopause Society.

I am a Functional Medicine practitioner and I focus on getting to the underlying causes of illness for both adults and children. Causes are primarily nutritional deficiencies, genetic mutations like MTHFR, toxins in the body, chronic infections and food allergies. I use lab testing to pinpoint specific causes and then apply the most effective natural treatments. I consistently see dramatic results with fatigue, candida yeast, fibromyalgia, migraines, menstrual problems, menopause, adrenal exhaustion, toxicity, anxiety, depression, and much more. She wants all her patients to feel whole and happy with who they are. She specializes in minor surgery, LGBTQ+ health, IV therapy, pelvic floor therapy, physical manipulations, pediatrics, pregnancy, postpartum, fertility, chronic pain, and oncology, as well as seeing primary care patients of all ages.

Whether it be purification treatments and weight loss, cosmetic minor surgery, structural repair using modalities and spinal manipulation, colon hydrotherapy, homeopathic, botanical, or nutritional support, we've been providing complete family medicine here in Clatskanie for the last 33 years. We use food based nutritional support, avoiding the high potency, low nutritional value (hyped supplements).
