I specialize in working with children and adolescents with autism, ADHD, and special needs, including behavioral, social, and emotional problems. My goal is to help patients achieve and maintain optimal health. I work to find the root cause of illness instead of merely treating symptoms. I perform a detailed patient intake, comprehensive physical exam, and order and evaluate both conventional and specialty laboratory tests. Treatment plans are developed and adapted to each individual patient with an emphasis on treating the whole person. I actively involve my patients in their treatment, empowering them to achieve and maintain optimal health.

Dr. Robin Russell has been specializing in Pediatrics and Women's Health for over 13 years. Dr. Russell's experience in Primary Care Pediatrics while practicing in Washington state provides a great background for the acute and chronic disease she currently specializes in. Dr. Russell's treatment approach centers around identifying the cause of her patients symptoms/disease. Her approach in identifying the cause of a patient's symptoms includes a comprehensive history intake and may also include blood work, food allergy testing, or other specialized testing depending on the symptoms/disease.

I believe health comes from being able to identify what the obstacles are to your healing. Whether these are internal imbalances, external toxins or a combination of both, identifying the root is the key to taking your health back. My areas of work include women's hormones and children’s health. In addition to my Naturopathic studies I have a masters in acupuncture. I intertwine these two modalities to give the most comprehensive care to bring the body and mind back to balance. We work as a team to uncover your specific needs as we move towards reaching your health goals.

In order to help my patients, I need to know their story. Health problems don't start the first time that a person has a pain, or the first night of insomnia. They started well before that first bout. For example, the problem started long before one develops IBS: IBS is a symptom of the problem. That is why it is so important to take a full history--not just current things but things that may have begun in childhood. So what I do is to listen and ask questions and listen. Once we are both satisfied, we can develop a plan--the goal of which is to help you reach YOUR best state of health.

I am Board certified Naturopathic Physician and Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Connecticut. I use patient-empowerment approach to achieve the highest level of health possible by supporting the body's own healing processes. As a Naturopathic medicine specialist, Dr. Ahn sees patients with difficult cases of chronic diseases or who have tried many conventional treatments or testings but failed to find the answer. She is a firm believer of curing the body holistically because only in a healthy body can a healthy mind reside. With her background in both Western and Eastern Medicines, she will know exactly when and how to use these modalities to improve and speed up the the healing process of her patients.

Dr. Patterson is a naturopathic physician with over 10 years of experience and is the current President for the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians. Her practice focuses on autoimmune conditions, bone/joint pain, Lyme disease, asthma/allergy, childhood disorders, women's health and anxiety/depression. After completing her undergraduate degree at Cornell University and working a few years in the business field, she pursued and completed her doctoral degree at the University of Bridgeport, College of Naturopathic Medicine. Since then, she has pursued a path of medicine with the core naturopathic tenets in mind "treat the whole person" and find the underlying cause of disease.
