I am a licensed naturopathic physician that practices integrative primary care. My special interests encompass cardiovascular disease, endocrine conditions (diabetes, PCOS, thyroid disorders), gastrointestinal conditions (GERD, SIBO/IFO, IBS, IBD), mental health (anxiety, depression), and women’s health. I love combining the standards of care with evidence-based diet, nutrition, exercise, botanical medicine, and mind-body techniques to treat a wide variety of acute and chronic conditions.

My practice has two main focuses: 1). Helping people navigate their way out of chronic disease 2). Achieving or maintaining an optimal state of wellness. I have a special interest helping people with digestive problems, from undiagnosed digestive distress to Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Inflammatory Bowel disease. I also bring considerable experience in working with people with chronic fatigue, various autoimmune diseases, hormone imbalances, insomnia, anxiety and depression. Dr. Heather Buckle is a naturopathic doctor who provides specialized support for chronic gastroenterology issues (GI). Dr. Buckle has spent the past several years, serving thousands of patients with GI conditions including IBS, SIBO, fructose malabsorption, chronic reflux (GER), eosinophilic esophagitis (EOE), Crohn’s, ulcerative colitis, and everything in between. During this time, she has gained extensive expertise in helping to manage these conditions and improve health and function for her patients. In her practice, Dr. Buckle and her team come across many patients who have been battling chronic GI issues.

I do best working with people who are willing to take a proactive approach to their healthcare. So much of what I do involves being a detective, trying to discover the underlying reason for health challenges and the root cause of illness. Most people want to get relief from their suffering —understandably so! While this is definitely a goal, I enjoy working with people who also want to optimize their health and to prevent illness in the future.

Dr. John has been in practice for 25 years, having earned his doctorate degree in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in 1998. After working for two years with a Medical Doctor, he opened The Natural Health Medical Clinic in 2000 on Beacon Hill, just South of Downtown Seattle. He specializes in treating pain and injuries, as well as treating a wide range of health conditions such as diabetes, chronic fatigue, poor immune function and hypthyroidism. Areas of special study include hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) which stimulates stem cell production, ozone therapy, homeopathy, herbal medicine, neural therapy, prolozone, PRP.

A 1992 Bastyr University grad, Dr Forwell offers a wealth of experience from her 29 years in naturopathic primary care. She is a pioneer of Regenerative Injection Therapies employed to treat pain from injury & overuse. Chronic sprains & strains, osteoarthritis etc are treated with these needling techniques referred to as Prolotherapy, PRP and embryonic Stem Cells as well as Mesotherapy & Neural Therapy. She was a founding board member & instructor at the Naturopathic Academy of Therapeutic Injections, has advanced training from the American Association of Orthopaedic Medicine & conducts doctor training courses around the country.

I work collaboratively with people to not only identify what is causing their symptoms, but more importantly, identify what roadblocks are preventing them from achieving wellness and explore what treatments they want to try.

I am certified in the BioTE Bioidentical hormone replacement technique. I am proud to be the first doctor in the immediate Seattle area to be certified in this amazing company.This complements my naturopathic approach allowing me to best address age management issues. Dr. Sarah Cassidy provides general family care to the whole family, from pediatrics to elderly, including pregnancy and infancy.
