I am a Functional Medicine practitioner and I focus on getting to the underlying causes of illness for both adults and children. Causes are primarily nutritional deficiencies, genetic mutations like MTHFR, toxins in the body, chronic infections and food allergies. I use lab testing to pinpoint specific causes and then apply the most effective natural treatments. My practice has two main focuses: 1). Helping people navigate their way out of chronic disease 2). Achieving or maintaining an optimal state of wellness. Dr. John has been in practice for 25 years, having earned his doctorate degree in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in 1998. He was selected for a two year residency in nutritional and orthopedic medicine with Thomas Dorman, MD at the Paracelsus Clinic and was trained in Cyriax orthopedics and prolotherapy.
