I am a Registered Dietitian licensed to practice in Illinois. I received my Bachelors in Nutrition Science with a minor in biological sciences from University of Illinois at Chicago. As an undergrad I participated in research related to diabetes, weight loss, physical activity and public health. I completed 1200 hours of supervised clinical training from Uchicago Medicine Ingalls memorial Dietetic Internship program. During my training I did research on nutrigenomics, diabetes, and weight loss.

In my undergraduate program at Benedictine University, I was awarded the community nutrition award; which is awarded to dietetic students that provide service to the community through nutrition. Fast forward a few years, and I have been a dietitian for almost 4 years. It is enlightening to see how much has changed since the beginning of my career. As well as how much I have learned and grown throughout while educating clients about their nutrition needs. Clients should expect to learn what steps to take in their lifestyle to achieve success with any nutrition change they set for themselves.

My nutrition philosophy is to find wellness, balance and joy in all foods. Using evidence when possible, it is my goal to teach individuals how to eat to prevent disease and illness, enhance performance and quality of life. Hyundo (a.k.a. Hans) Kim is a licensed acupuncturist in Illinois and a former professor at the prestigious Sangji University in Korea. He received his bachelor’s degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Then he graduated from Emperor's College of Traditional Oriental Medicine in Santa Monica, CA with Magna Cum Laude and spent the next eight years in Korea, working at Korean Research Institute of Geriatrics as the senior researcher and then at Sangji University.
