As a naturopathic doctor, I help my patients see that healthy living doesn't have to be impractical or intangible. My approach empowers and educates patients to make better choices and enjoy improved health. Natural Medicine isn't always the easier choice, but offers a real solution. Through our partnership you will be given the tools for a healthy life that works. To help my patients achieve optimal, vibrant health I use natural, effective therapies including nutritional supplements, homeopathy, Chinese and western herbs, acupuncture, individualized nutrition interventions and life coaching to create customized programs for busy New Yorkers.
I have a general naturopathic practice, although my areas of expertise are in weight loss, women's health, PCOS and hypothyroidism, and diabetes as well as skin disorders. I obtained my Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and Masters in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine from Bastyr University.
Weight loss has always been a passion. Upon graduation, I was Director of Health and Wellness for a chain of fitness studios. Since then I have shared my expertise as a guest on "The Wellness Hour" (Martha Stewart Living Radio), in the New York Times and various other publications.
